MultiMAX Posts Strong Nationwide Sales
Multichannel Monitor Controller chosen by top North American studios

Alhambra, Cal. -- Martinsound, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialized audio products for experts in the fields of music recording, broadcast and post production, is announcing strong first year sales of its MultiMAX multiformat monitor controller.

Throughout North America top post production houses, music recording studios, broadcast facilities and interactive entertainment companies have chosen MultiMAX to satisfy their surround sound monitoring control needs. MultiMAX has become the popular choice for studios upgrading to surround sound production due to its affordability, comprehensive features, ease of use, compact size and easy installation.

MultiMAX may be integrated with any stereo mixing console or workstation to provide extensive monitoring capabilities and precise control of multiple surround sound speaker systems in 8-channel, 7.1, 5.1 and LCRS formats. In addition to facilitating quality control checks at every stage of the surround sound production process, MultiMAX offers the industry's most consummate downmixing options to ensure compatibility with any playback format.

In California, Highway 5.1 at The Complex (West Los Angeles), Castle Oaks Productions (Calabasas), New Standard Post (Hollywood), Audio Post & Picture (Burbank), Vid-Film Services (Glendale), and noted producer James Guthrie (Lake Tahoe), all installed MultiMAX during 1999. Most recently, several MultiMAX units were installed in the broadcast and post production studios at the brand new Staples Center sports arena in downtown Los Angeles.

MultiMAX has also been adopted by noted post production facilities Clatter and Din, Inc. (Seattle, WA), Post Audio (Eden Prairie, MN), Four Seasons Media Productions (St. Louis, MO), and Miami Tapes, Inc. (Hialeah, FL), as well as Nashville mastering facility MasterMix.

In New York City, post production house Nutmeg Music Productions and music recording studios Right Track Recording, Hit Factory and Sony Music Studios have all taken delivery of MultiMAX systems this year.

In Canada, interactive entertainment company Electronic Arts chose MultiMAX for its Vancouver, BC, studios, and post production house Magnetic North in Toronto installed a system.

Martinsound continues to demonstrate its 'Just Mix' design philosophy and its commitment to providing customers with fully featured, cutting edge products that simplify the recording process with the ongoing enhancement of its surround sound monitoring solutions. New software to satisfy user requests has recently been announced for MultiMAX, a Dolby Surround EX version of the unit will be released in the near future, and the company is introducing a companion product for MultiMAX, the ForMAX surround monitoring formatter.
