Seasons Studio Opens with Audiomate Alhambra, Cal. - Four Seasons Media Productions in St. Louis, Missouri has purchased an Audiomate' moving fader automation system from Martinsound, Inc. The 40 channel Audiomate system is installed in an API Legacy console configured with 48 inputs in a 64 input frame. The Four Seasons Media Productions studio celebrated its grand opening on October 16, 1998. Designed from the ground up by the Russ Berger Design Group, the Four Seasons complex features three control rooms and two live rooms, and has been hailed as the finest studio in the Midwest. The studio will primarily concentrate on corporate production and post production. Control Room One, featuring the API console, is linked to a 30 ft. by 33 ft. live room and will be used mainly for music production. The Audiomate moving fader system offers 10 bit resolution (1024 steps) and quarter frame accuracy. The sophisticated system software incorporates channel and global operational modes, fader and mute grouping, snapshots, cue list, machine control and comprehensive off-line editing functions, yet is easy to use for the novice or the computer illiterate. Martinsound, Inc. is the exclusive U.S. distributor of the Audiomate system, which is a product of Audiomation Systems Ltd. of England and includes servo control cards manufactured for Audiomation by Martinsound.
