Surround Cables Support Industry Standards
Martinsound has adopted the industry standard Tascam DB-25
8-channel-wide analog audio I/O connector on our MAX and Flying Faders
ACX products. Tom Holman has also chosen the Tascam format for our TMH
qualified products. Digidesign and many others have made
this DB-25 format the new
standard for multi-channel analog interconnects.
MAX Cables are
high-quality Tascam format shielded audio cables, used to connect any
audio gear with a DB-25 audio interface. We are supplying them as
DB-25 to DB-25 interconnects, and as snakes from DB-25 to XLR Male and
Female, Metal 1/4" phone TRS, Balanced TT, and RCA.

MAX Cables save both time and money. Using the wrong cable (T-DIF
cables, unshielded computer cables or poorly constructed custom cables)
can resulting in audible problems mistakenly attributed to the
equipment. MAX Cables takes some of the guesswork out of systems

if you need custom termination, it’s cheaper to cut in half a DB-25 to
DB-25 cable and wire each end. Each channel is individually shielded and
jacked making it easy to wire up 8 single channel connectors or a single
multi-channel connectors like Elco. You can also wire directly into your
patchbay.
